    • What do you drive?
Nice one thanks, will take a look. Just had my '95 pension frozen and that'll be the bulk of my payout, so no biggie if it's salary sacrifice.
    • Micah Richards
I think a problem is that his body broke down so much when he was playing right back for City, which is largely why he wanted to settle as a centre half.  No doubt he is much more use to us at right back though.  I've said in a couple of match threads that I'd seriously consider him as an emergency striker as well, he's quick, good in the air and can put the ball in the back of the net.
    • The Rémi Garde thread
Think your spot on- the only way I see him staying is if he's offered a decent war chest to get us promoted and less input from these fools on the board, not sure if he's the right man or not to get us back up but I find it hard not to like him. Seems a classy character and his honest assessments of games are refreshing IMO.
    • Joleon Lescott
His mistakes also cost us a lot of points as well.  But I'm being a bit churlish. He really is massively better since the turn of the year.
    • WAHEY! It's a JOKE thread : Enter at your own risk.
Funny you posted that today, only this morning I took Bonnie out for a coffee. I asked if she would like to go to Costa and she refused.
When I asked why ? she said " I'm holding out for a Nero "
    • The Rémi Garde thread
For what it's worth - I don't think Garde's wages will decide. The board's support (or lack thereof) might. When he arrived, IIRC he spoke about a medium-term project. That's clearly not just a part of a single season, but hinting at a longer-term rebuild, probably accepting a possible relegation along the way. He comes across as a quietly stubborn character, one that won't want to quit once he has agreed to take on a project. It was reported that he offered to resign at Lyon if the board decided to sell one particular player that he deemed essential to the team. I believe that the only thing that will make him look elsewhere is if he isn't confident that he'll be given the required tools (economical support) by the board to do what he thinks is necessary. He might not work out, of course - and whether he does or not, the board may decide to fire him and look for another manager.
    • Relegation Thread Version...99?!
He got two against them at their place as well, good option to come off the bench.
