The Last Duel seems to be getting generally reasonable reviews. I’m just not sure it’s what the cinema going public are looking for. Maybe if it was a Netflix series or something. I’m trying to think what was the most recent historical film to gain significant interest at the cinema (and by historical I mean something closer in style to swords and sandals stuff, rather than Downton Abbey). The Revenant maybe?
I’m interested in it that I’d watch it but I probably wouldn’t pay to go and see it unless I knew someone who also wanted to see it. Ridley Scott has previous with The Duelists which I remember enjoying. But then I find stuff like that quite interesting. Just not enough to help it out at the box office.
We need to utilise our width more. We landed on the 3-5-2 for a few games, got lucky but it’s not sustainable. Can’t be leaving attacking talent like Traore on the bench. And if it means going one up top so be it, can’t fit everyone in.
