Closer to £150m than £100m though I obviously wouldn’t want to sell him at all. If they offered us say Bernardo Silva and Zinchenko + money that would probably actually be better for us. I don’t want to sell him but if it came down to it, I don’t want player exchange plus why would Silva join us? Move from probably the best club side in the world to a current mid table team who he has no affinity with and sold their best player (in this scenario to City). Player exchanges, Hundred million pound offers; nothing will come close to compensating for the loss of the man who has united the club and the fanbase back to its best footing its had in an awful long time. This is our best chance to get back amongst the higher echelons again and Jack is paramount to all of that and the potential of AVFC becoming something of a force again. He has to sacrifice his Trophy/CL ambition for the club he supports. All the clubs that could potentially tempt us with a silly offer have bigger needs and/or other expensive identified targets. If it were 10 years ago i'd expect Madrid or Barcelona to come in with an insane bid, but the game has changed a bit. 70 million pounds is laughable. He'll be closer to 140mil than 70mil.
