  1. 5ft10 I think. Mcleish said it in the press that he's grown a lot more this year than he was at the start of the year.
  2. About time he has his own thread now,set to be announced as manager tomorrow. Welcome aboad Steve!
  3. Stephen Moore has been playing for the Adam and Eve in Digbeth
  4. Surely needs his own thread now as being reported everywhere and on yellow bar on Sunday. I would assume the 10m we are getting from Westwood and ayew deals are what is funding this deal?
  5. Very excited about this player, he's 15 and plays centre midfield, he made his debut for u18s last season at the age of 14. He made his u16 debut at 12. He made his England u16 debut at 14 and has played for England u17 this season, I think he is superb
  6. Looks set to be our next signing according to numerous news outlets. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-set-complete-third-13345527
  7. Isn't it about time he had a thread? Things seem to be moving in the right direction - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/21/aston-villa-make-concrete-offer-john-terry/?WT.mc_id=tmg_share_tw
  8. As this one seems very close I thought he deserved his own thread. I think he is a very useful player and has always looked solid for Wales. Does this mean Amavi is off? I'd be happy with this signing as he has Premier league quality should a miracle happen and we were to go up. Definitely a player who could help us push for the play offs. Pleased if this goes ahead.
  9. Talented young winger made his debut for the u21s tonight at the age of 15 years old, becoming the youngest ever to do so. He made his debut for the u18s last season at 14, I think this player has the potential to be absolutely superb. I think he will make his first team debut next season if he keeps progressing and obviously if we keep of him unlike Daniel Crowley who is now excelling at arsenal
  10. More and more reports of him coming to Villa now. He deserves his own thread, seeing as Kalvin Phillips has one and he never signed.
  11. Interesting. According to http://m.leparisien.fr/sports/football/mercato-le-nantais-jordan-veretout-en-route-vers-aston-villa-27-07-2015-4973813.php He is on his way to AVFC ?!? After having secured the services of Jordan Ayew, the Birmingham club is about to engage the midfielder of 22 years of Nantes, Jordan Veretout How do I tag as "Speculation"
  12. Done according to AVFC transfers on Twitter.
  13. Apparently Richard O’Kelly has joined the coaching team from Brentford with Dean Smith. I thought he deserves his own thread. Not confirmed on the OS yet so still speculation for now.
  14. 17 year old Youth Team prospect from Solihull is training with the 1st team.
  15. Great article in the Daily Mail with Carbone about his time in England... Click Here One of my favourite players down the years and sounds like a great man also... (Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere. I couldn't see it but if it is then please delete the thread)
  16. New owner, new start. New division. Anyone know anything about him?
  17. really cant wait for delph to come back now!already getting excited about the prospect of him and ireland in the middle, albrighton on the right downing on the left ash young just sitting behind gabby,so much pace and young british talent!i no i will get slated for this cos petrov is our captain but delph is his natural replacement and has the ability to be an absolute monster if he comes back from his acl injury 100%
  18. Apparent heart attack. Report here. Sorry for short link. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39660196 Former England and Aston Villa defender Ugo Ehiogu is in hospital after collapsing at Tottenham's training centre on Thursday. The 44-year-old, who is Spurs' Under-23s coach, received medical treatment on site being transferred to hospital by ambulance, the Premier League club confirmed. "Everyone at the club sends their best wishes to Ugo and his family," Tottenham added in a statement. Ehiogu has been at Spurs since 2014. He made over 200 appearances for Aston Villa between 1991 and 2000 before spending seven years at Middlesbrough. Ehiogu, who was capped four times by England, also played for West Brom, Leeds, Rangers and Sheffield United before retiring in 2009.
  19. Free Radio reporting that he has died. Terrible news if so. A true Villa legend. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum
  20. Thought it would be best to open a post on Tom Heaton who according to Gregg Evans is close to signing for us.Top keeper in my opinion just what we need.
  21. Tony following him on Twitter, he's a villain now....
  22. Express & Star are reporting that Bruce has confirmed our interest in Lansbury, so I figured a speculation thread is in order. http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/aston-villa-fc/2017/01/05/january-transfer-window-steve-bruce-confirms-aston-villa-approach-for-henri-lansbury/
  23. He's lucky if he starts a game, and doesn't really do much for them, does he? I'd rate him a failure so far with Man U... Anyone fancy a move for him in January?
  24. Angel will hit form sooner rather than later and when he does bag a couple his confidence will rocket and the onion bag will feel his wrath. It has to happen especially with the way Baros has been playing in support.
