I'm actually enjoying the fact that nobody really knows who we are after. Links to Hayden, Austin and Gibson all seemingly shot down.

The only one I hope we move for is that lad from Luton. Looks exactly the sort of player that can develop under Smith. Please no more players pushing 30 looking for one last payday.

That's a pity. Could have done a job for us this season and then made it a permanent deal in the summer following Burnley's relegation and our inevitable promotion. ;)

No doubt already been said a million times, but The Minger, as he will henceforth be known should he join us, has played 14 times in the last 4 years. It must have been a long, hard day at the office for Jesus, when he scoured his deep European networks to conjure up Tyrone.

It was a helluva long day!  He only got 45 minutes with the wife and to walk the dog.

How far have we sunk?

A long way.  A long long way and as soon as people accept that the better.

Is it better to sign someone exciting sounding like Ross McCormack for £12m or some unknown like John McGinn for £2.5m?
