Southgate has already sent him the message that Jack has to jump through hoops to earn a place and is only there now by virtue of injuries. The cynical side of me says Southgate has done it just to appease the media.......and I bet you he will use every possible way NOT to actually play Jack. Jack just needs to make the most of this now and keep his head down and just play ball. It's back in his hands now because as much a the cynical side of me thinks Southgate could leave him out, the other side of the coin is he can't afford too. I also think Jack has showed maturity and professionalism in the way he handled the previous snub, it would have been easy for him to make a fuss of it, would have been understandable, but he remained calm and got his chance.
