It's just bizarre, I did see a pic with his calf strapped but I doubt it's that. Either Jack has done something particularly bad we don't know about or it's just a personal dislike from Southgate. I think a lot of it lies with the fact I think Southgate is the most ovverated and luckiest England manager in the last 30 years. His run to the World Cup Semi Final was a doddle and then managed to **** it up against an average Croatia side. He was lauded as a hero for this. His domestic record as a manager is laughable. I don't know the psychology and the position of the player with regards to how he feels about this and if it affects whether he wants to move from Villa now, but I have a horrible feeling it might. Make no mistake about it, this is NOT GOOD in our quest to keep Jack. Jack wouldn't just be an option for England, he'd be their best f***** player.
