Zhan_Zhuang
Said it a few games ago that he was a passenger, countless times he gave the ball away. He's good for a game and then poor for three! I think we'll spend our money elsewhere in the Summer.
Davkaus
If he starts on Saturday I might just go and do something else. There's a good player there, but he's not looked good since returning, goal aside in the last game. Use the bloody squad. Demitri_C
Im starting to see a lot of red flags with him. Veey inconsistent and when he is bad he is very bad. Absolute waste of space tonight. I am starting to think we moght be bwtter off not pursuing him in the summer.
lexicon
Beginning to think we'd be better off without him in the team.
Popular Post Delphinho123
The worst thing about Barkley isn’t the fact his individual performances are poor, it’s that we’re a much poorer side with him in it. I don’t quite know why, but lately the level of McGinn and Luiz has dropped especially with Barkley in the team. He needs to be dropped. I don’t buy into this, ‘he needs a run of games to get fit’. It’s the Premier League, we can’t play players just so they might get fit one day. He’s a passenger and he needs replacing.
sidcow Posted February 3, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted February 3, 2021 For what he's going to cost in fee's and wages I really wouldn't bother, not unless there is a major turnaround in his play. He's always going to have time out with injury and when he's hot he's hot, but more often he's luke warm to cold. I'm sure we can invest our money much better. Zatman
still pisses me off that he only ever looks for Jack when he has the ball, no faith in the other players
will87
He needs to find another gear. Get Jack in the middle and trez or el ghazi out left.
sne
Fair weather player sadly. In his current form and mentality I'd have both Sanson and Ramsey ahead of him for the Arsenal game.
VillaChris
Been defending him recently and saying we should still sign him permanently but no chance on tonight, woeful and this is the sort of game we need him to be a difference maker in. mykeyb
On form he is brilliant. He is not on form or fit at the moment.
Davkaus
What was the fee? £25m, £30m? Get to ****. There's a good player in there, but he doesn't show up anywhere near often enough. The first 2-3 games had me thinking we'd managed to get the best out of him. The last 2-3 have clearly been the worst though. I can't honestly look at the games he's played since he's been back and say he offered more than Nakamba or Ramsey would have.
WooJung
Hasn't had a good game since he came back. His fitness level is terrible and his decision making is dreadful. He got schooled by Jesse bloody Lingard as to how to play behind the striker, and he hadn't played in ages. Pathetic.

DCJonah
Against Liverpool he looked strong and powerful. Has his hamstring injury knocked more out of him than we know?
Farlz
When he's not on it bloody hell you really know about it. Incredibly frustrating player, the story of his career I guess.
