Looks like he and Villa favoured the package offered by Ipswich. Rather than no offers from the Championship. Villa are doing this right. Rather minutes, Paul Cook management and Ipswich having more possession, giving Louie more opportunities to show his skills.

Good Luck Louie, a decent level to start at where he will hopefully get regular competitive matches under his belt. Hopefully he will bang a few goals in for Ipswich and build his confidence and strength to come back here and slot into our first team squad.

Got to be honest, I wanted to see him play for us this season.

Probably a bit to young to be fair. But in 12 months, hell yeah!

Louie, when you look at your peers for inspiration and find someone to follow in terms of example set, please do not let it be Jack Grealish. Let it be Lionel Messi or Totti.

Don't want him following Totti. Too much fun with the ladies can play havoc with your game.

If we were still in the Championship, possibly. Needs further physical development and more fully competitive experience imo.

Ipswich seems a good fit, at least for this half season. A level Louie is more likely to get a lot of game time for a decent sized club looking to play on the front foot and aim for promotion. Rather that than a Championship team playing defensively to avoid relegation or at a Championship club not willing to risk playing a youngster in a promotion push.

Good luck Louie, enjoy your football and come back better and stronger.

He has undoubted technical ability and is a lethal finisher. But he needs to grow stronger . Which will happen. Greedish had such a weak upper body when he started out at 18 but the penny dropped at 20 and he got stronger and stronger every season. The kid has everything to be a success . Let him mature and not rush him and we might just might have another homegrown super star in 3 years .
