useless Posted July 4, 2021 Share Posted July 4, 2021 Younger age groups were back at Bodymoor Heath last week and will presumably be back this coming week for the start of pre-season, so I doubt he was drinking or if he was not to any great extent. Also seen a few people mention that he's been doing a lot of work over the summer on his strength, I think a lot of the U23s have been doing the same, some working with personal trainers/coaches. It was amazing to see Jack go from 2 stone wet through skinny kid to what he is now, Barry would benefit from an improved physicality also. He's already an England player (albeit not yet senior level), who is hopeful of being in the full England squad within a relatively short 5 years or so, so I can absolutely see why he would wear his own England shirt and number. Hope he can get a loan asap It is up to Barry himself to force his way in to the starting line up or squad, he has to believe that he can dislodge the more established first team members. From what I have seen of him, he has a knack of being in the right place at the right time, a goalscorer’s instinct if you will.
