    Loan watch 2018/19

With 9 players out on loan at the moment, I figured we could do with an 18/19 version of the loan watch thread to keep a handy eye on them all. Foreign loans Aaron Tshibola - Kilmarnock (SPL) Easah Suliman - FC Emmen (Dutch Eredivisie) Championship Tommy Elphick - Hull City Gary Gardner - small heath alliance League One Andre Green - Portsmouth Jed Steer - Charlton Athletic League Two Mitchell Clark - Port Vale Jordan Lyden - Oldham Athletic Kelsey Mooney - Cheltenham Town

    Mitchell Clark

17 year old right back for the youth team has just signed his first professional contract. I've seen him a few times for the youth team and I've been very impressed. He's very good going forwards and also adept defensively, I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops over the coming years. I think he's a very special talent

    Jed Steer

"He will also add Norwich City goalkeeper Jed Steer, 20, who becomes a free agent on July 1, to a firmament of four including Brad Guzan, Shay Given and Benji Siegrist." "Bringing in Jed will also add to the goalkeeping department and helps with everyone pushing one another, learning from one another and making everyone better and wanting to improve." http://mobile.avfc.co.uk/default.aspx?s=news-display&aid=3220876 Formerly of Norwich City, albeit not making a first team appearance, Jed Steer will reunite with Lambo here at Villa by the looks of it. No official statement on him that I can see, maybe not until July 1st, but they've slipped it into the news story above so I guess its finalized that Jed Steer will be our new number 2 and our 6th signing of the Summer. Welcome I guess!

    André Green

Talented young winger made his debut for the u21s tonight at the age of 15 years old, becoming the youngest ever to do so. He made his debut for the u18s last season at 14, I think this player has the potential to be absolutely superb. I think he will make his first team debut next season if he keeps progressing and obviously if we keep of him unlike Daniel Crowley who is now excelling at arsenal

    Kelsey Mooney

Checked and no thread on Kelsey! Scored his first professional goal today for Cheltenham in a shirt that is similar to our "Yellow" Mita Copiers 3rd Kit from early 90's (91-93)

Sorry Mods, but i could not find the thread, so merge if it still exists 8) For me, the shining light in a pretty dire team performance. Showed some real neat touches, and you know what? I think weve got a gem 8)
