VillaChris Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 We hardly have any striking back up at present if you figure Benteke and Gabby is the nominal front two (one who could still easily leave and the other who about 70% of this forum wants shot of) so I think it's fair to say if Kozak stays fit he gets plenty of minutes this season. Mantis Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 Pretty much. Kozak isn't a true poacher like Bent was but he's definitely closer in style to a poacher than a complete forward like Benteke. But he's big so he must be a target man... Lambert himself described him as such upon signing him. So chuffed he scored on his return, that's a milestone overcome already. Hopefully he'll have a good preseason under his belt and get back to match fitness. I always felt the views on Lambert and the perception from some that this particular addition wasn't needed coloured assessments of Kozak.
