Ah well, glad I didn’t get a chance to watch this now.

Not surprised by the result. We have so many players in the squad that Gerrard hopefully knows are not up to his standard.

Thought we only played well 5 minutes either side of goal.

Other than that terrible passing and various players trying to beat 4 or 5 players seemed are only tactic.

Embarrassing performance summed up by the Trezeguet theatrics at the end. Every single player was a disgrace. No urgency or tempo all game. Douglas Luiz needs to stop thinking he’s better than what he is. He should be thankful he’s playing for a club as big as us.

Not a terrible performance, but we look like a lower midtable side. 

Work to do, in the window and on the training pitch.

Threw it away. We were very poor all over the pitch with the exception of 1 or 2 players. Hause should never play for us again. I wouldn't be renewing his contract.  Cost us both goals and nearly scored an own goal.

worst performance under gerrard so far. Burnley, Leeds, Watford need to yield 9 points, no exceptions. January not going to be a good month for us with United twice...Everton are actually worse than us so thats a good thing though. Roll on February

Poor performance.

Trez shouldn't be going down like that because it wasn't a foul. However, we all know if it was Salah, they'd be straight on VAR and it would be a nailed on pen & red card.

Only Emi(s) and maybe Ings can take any credit from this. Brentford didn't have to work for this win, we handed it to them on a **** plate.

 

Hause lack the general understanding of basic defending, Targett not great going fwd but also poor at the back. Bert, the usual self much trickery but no end products. Welcome back Trez but that dive at the end was utter embarrassing. 

 

Disappointing is a hugh understatement given Brentford was just half day dreaming in the game

Boo. What a pathetic display. Not one of them deserve to start the next game. Brentford had 2 shots ffs! Gerrard needs to sort this quick or we'll be in a relegation battle soon. He doesn't seem to know how to convert possession into goals. This is not the SPL, we aren't going to come up against the sort of shit in that noddy league!
