It’s another sliding doors moment, we get CL we can start to build a squad capable of challenging for top 4 for seasons to come. We don’t get Top 4 we most likely will have to sell whilst other teams strengthen. It’s massive for us to get CL football next season, especially with the new format. We are guaranteed at least 8 games but more than likely a minimum of 10. You also play 8 different teams in the league stage.

I’ve always been a massive SJM, cracking player and a very humble bloke. He annoyed me with the Spurs sending off, he’s better than that. Proper captains performance today. Same again Thursday night skipper!

He’s holding onto the ball too long again when there are simple passes on. It used to infuriate me and now he’s letting it creep back in to his game again.

I wouldn’t sign this bloke on a free, offers next to nothing. Lacks effort and any sort of positional sense.

He’s been below par for weeks now, he picks up cheap cards due to his lack of physicality.

Ok performance, Lille are a decent team. Big plus is they are probably worse than us at defending set pieces. This could be key imo.

Bookings get reset after today’s game. He had 30 seconds not to get booked.

I love the fact he came out and said what he did, he’s 100% right. He’s setting the standards now that other players need to reach. If you want to reach the top you have to be at it every minute of the game otherwise you get found out. Personally would love him to finish top goalscorer in the league, he deserves it. Kids got a great attitude!

I forgot what these Saturdays felt like, I wish it didn’t bother me so much but it does. I know we’ve lost a few games since the new year but today was hard to take. Yes we got a draw but it feels like a loss. Anyway it’s still all to play for and like others have said Spurs run in isn’t exactly easy. UTV

Better than Diaby or Duran, he’s just not a player I would turn to first when chasing a game. I’ve lost count of the amount of times he comes on and the ball bounces off him and he commits a foul, on the plus side he hasn’t had a yellow card for a few games though

I just can’t have anyone would be stupid enough to get booked with 30 seconds to go when you know they reset after the game. Maybe I’m still fuming we threw away 2 points and it’s clouding my judgement.

Luiz hasn’t been great since Kamara got injured. His constant hanging on to the ball when there is a simple pass on is starting to infuriate me, it’s like he’s gone back to being the old Dougie.

Wind swirling about and we wasted most of the first half passing from side to side. You have to get balls into the box on days like these. Brentford did exactly this second half and got 3 goals. We did it twice and got 2 ourselves. 5 out of the 6 goals were crosses into the box.

Yes but if he doesn’t get booked in the 97th minute he wouldn’t get any ban. Yellow cards are reset after today’s game. He got booked for a reason imho.

I’m not digging him out for today but he’s nowhere near the level we need. Football is about opinions but I genuinely don’t get what some fans see in this guy. He has stole a living this season.

I’m glad he mentioned the 3 crosses, criminal defending. Love the bloke but no idea why Zaniolo was his first sub, he also should have rolled the dice and threw on subs when we scored the 3rd, instead they sat back down.
