Poor game management from Gerrard.

Traore very rusty and left on for 80 minutes.

Trezeguet not played in over a year and was never clinical before the injury... with Chuk, El Ghazi and even Bidace on the bench and instead Trez id trusted for the final 10 minutes. He's about to go away to a tournament anyway, why even bother?

Truly awful. I thought better of him than this.

Thinking we are prime Barcelona because we are 1-0 up at Brentford about sums up that.

Gerrard. An actual winner will be ripping them to shreds hopefully in the post match.

A moment in the first half when Emi and Ramsay played about 3 one twos to each other five yards apart was symptomatic of the casual nature and false sense of security.

Only got themselves to blame. Attitude lost us that game.

That dive from Trez sums up exactly who and what we need to get rid of and improve in the transfer. Hopefully Gerrard’s first window with us will end the Villa careers of certain personalities who let us down time and time again.
