Just have to hope we can reinvest the £15m wisely.

The owners will pocket this money as they are short of funds at the moment

7 yellow cards this season

What a bloke.

In those games we are 5-1-1. Emi getting a yellow usually means we are getting all 3 points.

Sounds like he really rattled a lot of their fans today with his "time wasting"

Literally a thread on Reddit complaining about him now.  lol

First it was his "unprofessional antics" during the World Cup, now it's his time wasting shithousery, but nobody talks about his amazing shot stopping ability.

They're not wrong though are they?

10 minutes injury time needs to start becoming the norm.

A stop clock is needed.

Because I'll tell you what will happen. It'll be an extra 15 mins leading away at Anfield, but only 5 if they're leading at Villa Park.

Exactly.

Remember when the media thought him and Emery had a problem with each other and he was going to be the first player sold.

Emi has been amazing in the last few months and he's probably the number 1 player Emery wouldn't want to sell.

Like a good number in the squad, Emi has improved under Emery. He plays more like a sweeper in some matches.

Yeah that’s the issue. I don’t mind lots of time added on but there would never, ever be 15 mins if we were behind to them.

Emi came back from the world cup as a top 5 keeper but I think this run under Unai has pushed him into a serious conversation as the world's best. Weirdly enough he is playing so well I don't think he leaves this summer. No team is going to break the world's transfer record for a keeper so he isn't going anywhere.

It's frustrating when you're behind, but when the refs and VAR favour the big clubs so much, all the soft penalties they get, all the diving that goes unpunished, all the "clever play by kane/salah/Fernandes"... they can do one if they think this is ruining the game over simulation

Kane risks breaking people's necks on a constant basis by backing into people midway through a jump (which thanks to the asinine laws of the game wins *him* the foul).

Martinez takes his time when his team are in the lead (like all goalkeepers do)/talks to someone before a penalty, and suddenly he's a scourge on the game and FIFA need new laws
