Crazy how most of these designs are far better than anything we've had over the years. All these potential directions and somehow they still mess it up every time! I love the golden lion in particular breaking out of the badge. Goes against most design norms but it's a lion rampant.

Funny how that was posted yesterday with the new Betano logo, which we've only seen properly for the first time today. Presumably still just a FIFA mockup and that's all, but that little titbit does get an eyebrow raise out of me.

Nothing screams "consistent visual identity" quite like the club website and the new sponsor's website using completely different badges on otherwise the exact same piece of media. That does mean that the new, new badge is now technically in use, so we are currently officially using three badges: the old one, the Purslow one, and the Heck one. All simultaneously. Come on, Villa. Get it together.
