I agree though, think we could do with someone better or more specialised. Former strikers? Can’t think of many good ones or those that would be available... Dublin? Angel? Saunders? Hadn't realised O'Kelly was a striker. Not sure how good he was though - couldn't find a highlights reel In any case, he seems to be mostly involved in other things. Seems to me that putting the ball in the net is a very serious business and merits having a specialist coach. Perhaps Shakespeare's appointment will free up more of O'Kelly's time to concentrate on that area.

I’m really pleased we have an experienced coach in Shakespeare who has done it in the PL and been around for a long while. Absolutely. His experience he will bring to the table will be valuable.
Keener window-cleaner
I wonder if these lethal quick long balls we have begun with is an act of Shakespeare? They look very similar to the long balls Drinkwater was pinging to Vardy when Leicester won the title.

Made In Aston
You can see his influence in some of the attacking patterns. The quick longer passes movement and interchanges. Quality addition to the coaching staff.

KenjiOgiwara
I have absolutely no idea who does what on BMH, but I think we look more organised. Last nights match wasn’t super impressive, but we looked organised. The only thing I could put my finger on was that McGinn and Hourihane drifted into the same space and Targett got a bit isolated. Which is also why I wonder if it was just as much a defensive call when Trez switched left.
mikeyp102
Could start to see his influence on the team. One point in first half Jack picked up the ball middle of own half, rather than driving forward, he pinged a ball diagonally into the channel for Watkins to run onto. Watkins got there beat a man and fires a shot away. It was very reminiscent of a ball Leicester use for Vardy

Arguably one of the best teams in the world score a hell of a lot of goals with that exact same ‘long’ ball. samjp26
He's basically came and applied a Leicester PL Winning Season moveset to our team. Watkins is getting those Vardy balls whenever possible.
