MachoFantastico
Honestly not that surprised that Moyes played him tonight though. Never thought much of that idiot either to be honest. Didn't he once slap a female reporter or something. All a bunch of scum.
DJ_Villain
Not that I’m excusing or condoning animal cruelty… but I’m not shocked anymore about the behaviour of football clubs when it comes to fielding players under police investigation for vile crimes… Didnt Sunderland field Johnson when after charges were pressed against him for sexually assaulting a child? It would seem that winning a football match is more important than having morals…

Not surprising when they are owned by people who made their money through the abuse of women.
AvonVillain
Christ, I can only assume the incident was like something out of an Edgar Allen Poe story judging by these posts! I've not watched or going to watch it; is it really so bad?

Even if they sell Zouma in summer and donate the fee to the RSPCA, until then Moyes will be picking his best team from anyone who’s not physically on remand in jail - no matter what they’ve done. Not agreeing with it, but it’s not surprising either given the rewards involved if they make it.

jacketspuds
**** me Moyes' post-match press conference is pure horse shit. As long as they get Top 4 he couldn't really give a **** what Zouma has done. He'd probably pick Gylfi Sugurdsson and Benjamin Mendy if he got the chance. Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted February 8, 2022 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted February 8, 2022 I don't think this can even be justified in the desperate chase for top 4 - West Ham are fourth at the moment, but every team behind them has games in hand - you'd expect Spurs and Arsenal to get enough out of their games in hand to overtake them and Man Utd and Wolves will fancy it too - I think West Ham know they're in a chase for 7th - does a chase for 7th justify this bonfire of their dignity? It's a shame - the scenes before the game where they paid tribute to the poor young fan that had passed away showed the best of football and the best of West Ham, but they've then ruined that by selecting a player who just about everyone thinks shouldn't be playing. The Premier league as well have a lot of questions to answer here, they should have been taking the matter out of West Ham's hands - they should have been investigating the incident, the player should be suspended. Three points or not, this is a bad night for West Ham. There will be West Ham fans, good people, deeply troubled by the decisions their club has made tonight and I hope they make their voices heard.
Hank Scorpio
Football is corrupt. Most teams will do anything and I mean anything for the top 4. Virtually anything will be forgiven for it.

Hornso
If there was even a sliver of justice in football, it would have a been a Watford shot that deflected off Zouma for the deciding goal and not how it played out.
