Chelsea's transformation when Tuchel arrived was huge.

Their style became more defensive and counter-attacking, which served them very well.

They've been very ordinary this season and made a £20m loss on Timo Werner.

The team are obviuously in transition and the club didn't much like Tuchel's emotional management style.

No doubt Tuchel will bank his compensation and be successful somewhere else.

Looks like being manager under Boehly can be quite stressful:

”Chelsea have spent a record £266m in one window to bring in Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwuemeka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang among others. That increased the pressure on Tuchel but not all were his signings and there were other instances of the ownership attempting to foist players on him.

One example was the case of Anthony Gordon who Tuchel did not want. Boehly’s data analysts had pushed for the Everton midfielder after being impressed by some of his performance metrics. Tuchel came to feel he had too many players to accommodate and not enough he could count on.”

I don't think they will get Potter mid season.

Nah, can't agree with this. He's been given permission to talk to them and is heading there this afternoon, I would think an agreement is by far the most likely outcome.
