Think he also played Ings in 1v1 against Wolves and chance wasn't taken. Must be frustrating. I see him do a lot of good things when he's playing, but I think he just needs to build more of an understanding with his teammates, and the coaches need to work out how best to utilise him. I get the impression that if he was too docile and calm about it they'd be going on about him not caring at all. I want to see a player who wants to play and gets frustrated if things aren't working out - that's the sort of drive we need. He want's to justify the club fee, the hype and his quality. Give him time. Was able to keep Villa in possession in Palace's half and was picking up pockets of space to actually give them something to think about defensively. He seems capable of threading a ball through the eye of a needle with a single touch at times. When it comes off for him, it's mesmerising to watch. Watching his tenacity in the press is interesting too. Not many players like him are so aggressive and committed. It'll click for him.
