Should be given a run on right wing. Think we'll see a better player there.

Disappointing so far, but there's definitely a good player in there.

There were glimpses of a good player second half.  I don't think he was helped by others around him only giving  4/10 performances. He will come good.

Got to hope he comes good.  He's looked well off it, and certainly part of that will be adjusting to a new group.  Seems to always want an extra touch which wasn't the type of player I was expecting when he came in.

After a pretty solid performance last week...  a tough one today for Emi, but it's truly hard to assess the individual when legit everyone was terrible and there was zero cohesion.  Really hope the boys figure it out in training this week.  I wouldn't be surprised if Ramsey starts over him next weekend.

Buendia looks slow and very lightweight, not impressed so far.

He looked very angry when he was subbed; hopefully it was anger for his performance and not choosing Villa over the other team!

If he wishes he chose Arsenal instead, that's something that he and I have in common.

I think he showed enough promise in the Wolves game we should be showing a little more patience.

I'm certainly not won over yet, but I'm not writing him off, and I'm expected to see he he plays with Bailey.

Was a shockingly bad performance tonight but I thought but for a couple of loose touches he was very good against Wolves. He’s a LOT smaller than I realised and has a touch of the Jotas about him which is worrying.

Hopefully he improves. What more can you say.

He's being played out of position and in the wrong formation, put him on the right in a 433 and we'd see better performances from him, actually I think one of the biggest mistakes that Smith makes as Villa manager whilst we've been in the Premier League is trying to play No.10 types in central midfield, didn't work with Grealish save for a few games here and there, didn't work with Barkley and isn't working with Buendia - we're not good enough, and neither are most teams, to be sacrificing a specialist midfielder in order to play a No.10 in midfield.

I'm sure he'll come and turn out to be a good signing, I think part of the problem is that he was being  way over hyped in the summer.
