Lot of players had a chance to put themselves up for contention tonight, none of them took it. Special mention to Steer for doing his job like always, thats about it.

Well. If we have to rely on most of those that played tonight much over the season, that is a concern!

Only concerning bit is these are the lads we will call upon if any of our starters get hurt. With that said, this was an entire team of our backups and I don't think it will be as dire if one of them are playing with the other starters.

Well I've learned a few things, well gotten them confirmed anyway. I already suspected it. 

1) Our reserves are not PL material at all. Not even remotely. 

2) Traore isn't enough when it comes to our transfer activity this window. I don't mean to anger anyone that hopes he comes good, but he does not have the pace I think we need as an option. 

3) AEG, Hause, Taylor, Lansbury are all so awful it hurts my head. The idea of having Hause in a PL team if we get an injury, that just terrifies me.

Really poor out there tonight. El Ghazi is criminally wasteful. Lansbury is poor. 

Cant wait for the ‘first team’ to get back out playing.

El ghazi was our only player with any aggression today. No movement off the ball once again hampered our wingers. Davis was abject. Couldn't even do the one thing he is supposed to be good at today. Lansbury missed a sitter. Nakamba and hause couldn't keep the ball. Overall a terrible performance.

Why can't we pass it to each other?  Few metres apart and passes going astray.  It's a joke.

Players we already know aren't good enough weren't good enough.

A lot of those were borderline starters last year and won't be this year, that is a good thing.

Shame we’re out of the cup, that second string is mostly scrap. Need the real team to make it better with 3 pts on Sunday. Onwards and upwards!

Horrendously frustrating.  God help us if we get 2 or 3 injuries to the first team.  
Wasted a really good chance to be in a quarter final just a few weeks into the season.

Poor, a wake up call for those who think the spending should be over. We have very little outside the first 11. Shows how much quality we lack as a squad.

You can see how Jack earns his money, we really would struggle without him.

My final thought though is we have been over confident and complacent tonight. A few of those tonight wont be seen again in our shirt.

Depth we have. Quality depth we do not.

 

No one here is putting pressure on the first team.

Havent missed those performances. Massive lack of quality which you couldnt say about the same group in the previous round.

We missed some sitters, Lansbury, Hause, Freddie and Davis were especially poor. 
 

Not too fussed as we wouldnt have won it anyway.
