Enhances his profile in the market (good for us and him) and gets one over on Spurs and Arsenal, Spurs who we lost Bentancur to and Arsenal who kept hold of ESR. Can't defend, can't take a set piece, is supposed to be good at passing yet no evidence for it. But the way we played today needed a proper workhorse “destroyer” DM in there to tie everything together.
