Please stay on topic.  This is the Dean Smith thread.  Go kiss Gerrard's arse in his thread.

Yes @villalad21 how dare you post anything negative about Dean in this thread. Arse licking and ignoring his inadequacies only!

To be fair mate, I feel some are still pettily beating a " Dead horse ".

I don't think it's right to take a dig at every opportunity, as the chapter is over.

I'm assuming most people who revisit this thread will also have an affinity for Dean, so certain comments obviously won't be recieved too well.

just watched a Norwich podcast, they were talking about the differences between Farke & Deano tactics they noticed.

One of them mentioned that rather than their fullbacks showing for short passes, the fullbacks and the keeper seemed to be punting long balls down the lines a lot.

They discussed whether this was a genuine change of tactics or something they have observed that may or may not be an actual tactical change.

If our last 12 months with Deano and Shakey was anything to go by, the Norwich fans had better get used to hat loads of punting the ball down the lines.

Not at all.  It's still possible for most of us to wish both Smith and Gerrard successful seasons.  Getting tired of the  "Smith Out" crowd making every single thread in this forum about themselves at every turn.  He's gone and we have a new manager that we all hope will get us playing well again.  Move on.  Now that the Smith thread is in "Other Football" you guys are literally going out of your way to keep this gloating going.

It’s all a bit “shut a few up”. Never be Brucie.

For a supposed football man it's actually surprising that without Jack we never actually played good football.

Like watching ya dad with another family watching him on MOTD.

Glad for him.

He has the look of a man who has been dumped by his dream girlfriend and is now dating the first girl who spoke to him afterwards.

I can still see the hurt behind that smile Dean.

This is obviously complete bollocks, but don't let a wild narrative spoil your attempt at discourse.

Is it though? Overall without Grealish the football was often very poor. Doesn't mean it'll be poor at Norwich where he's starting with a clean slate but it definitely did seem as if he had no idea what to do with us without Grealish.

Just weird that people are still going after Smith, when he's been completely civil with the club, the players, and the fans. Odd behaviour.

Not going after him.

Was hoping Norwich to lose every single game before he got appointed and that hasn't changed.

As I've said. Norwich lose and it's one less team for us to worry about. Somehow people have twisted this and made it out to be an anti Smith post.
