He’s old school and knows how big we are & what our fans expect. That is priceless. The fact he delivers on top is a massive bonus. Pleased he’s finally getting back to the levels we know after some expected indifferent form after coming back from injury. I love the partnership he’s struck with Douglas too. Sums SJMs attitude up perfectly.

Zatman
I thought he played well put in a good effort but I think he had the wrong boots on, he slipped or miskicked the ball a number of times
VillaChris
I do wonder about quality of passing against this level of opposition. He hits the odd lovely diagonal when not under much pressure but when pressed he gives it away a fair amount. That's something we might have to look at in future when we make some more signings like Sanson.
Tomaszk
That was very very smelly indeed.
ROTTERDAM1982
looked tired and jaded tonight, quite poor at times. Probably highlighted why we are after Sanson
wilko154
McGinn now misses the Newcastle game on Saturday after his 5th yellow card tonight.
Vive_La_Villa
He didn’t look with it today. Could have been one of those affected. No game until next Wednesday might do him good.

WallisFrizz
I think he’ll start Ramsay v Newcastle but I really thought it was Luiz that got booked.
JAMAICAN-VILLAN
Long pauses aren't good for him are they? He seems the type who needs to keep playing until he builds up momentum and is unstoppable. But when he is off, he is REALLY off.

JB
Not his best game but there was still a couple of outrageous pieces of play from him. One where he turned their man mid-way inside our half and pinged a long pass right into (I think) Jack’s path and then a through-ball in the second half. Always worth having him on the pitch for moments such as those. Love him.

WallisFrizz
Dean has said he got booked for delaying a free kick whilst we were making subs. I actually still don’t know if Luiz got booked or not tho.
