It says something about the midfield we've had over the past 5 years in that we've never looked comfortable playing with two centre midfielders. It's no wonder we've struggled really. He played some good short passes, some of his long ones went astray, but it was only a couple and that will come with match sharpness I think. Good player. We don't have a single outstanding midfielder for others to work around/support, but who knows what will happen if we sign Diawara, Morrison and/or Jedinak, how will Tshibola, Westwood, Ayew, Grealish, Adama fit? His play in the build up to the second goal (I think) was superb, really drove us forward. Another point I noticed was his presence, and his ability to win aerial duels in the middle of the park.
