all depends what happens in summer. if we get taken over and their serious people i think he will stick around

another season under lerner no chance

but if a big CL club like milan come in for him we cant stop him going if he wants to. i will thank him for all he has done whether he stays or goes. arguably up there with the carews and dublins in my eyes

I don't think Benteke would suit Spain for some reason. Can easily see him playing in Germany - Dortmund or Wolfsburg maybe. If not there then the only other league for him is the Prem. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing Spurs rumours again...

I think Benteke would be fine in Spain, mainly because he isn't just a typical target man and he can actually play football. His size is deceptive, and although he often uses his physicality he doesn't always need to do so like many target men do.

Both Milan clubs are rubbish atm, no point going there this summer.

but they are still 2 huge clubs. any player would want to play for them its like United this season. They werent in Europe yet could still attract Di Maria, Falcao, Blind etc.

Would be nice to think that Sherwood can convince him to stay again, tell him he'll be playing for an attacking team that will help him get 25 league goals and then he can go straight to the top, but tbh that's probably what Lambert told him a couple of years ago and I'm sure he probably wishes he'd left given how the last two seasons have gone.

We'll see. Whenever he does move on he should be remembered as a hero here because we could very easily have been relegated twice without him. As it is, it looks like his goals will keep us up again.

Majestic player at his best, the finest striker I can remember at VP, if he can stay fit he'll win Champions Leagues.
