If not there then the only other league for him is the Prem. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing Spurs rumours again... I think Benteke would be fine in Spain, mainly because he isn't just a typical target man and he can actually play football. Condimentalist Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Would be nice to think that Sherwood can convince him to stay again, tell him he'll be playing for an attacking team that will help him get 25 league goals and then he can go straight to the top, but tbh that's probably what Lambert told him a couple of years ago and I'm sure he probably wishes he'd left given how the last two seasons have gone. We'll see. Whenever he does move on he should be remembered as a hero here because we could very easily have been relegated twice without him. As it is, it looks like his goals will keep us up again.
