Gabby Agbonlahor

He's a Villan but that doesn't mean he should be in the team as his form has been poor for way too long now.

If Sherwood has learn't anything this week it's that it doesn't mean a thing if you are the best player in training it matter's what you do on the pitch, if Sherwood is unsure still all he has to do is read Macca's autobiography.

Training will show you what player can do without pressure, matches show what they are capable of when it's for real and Gabby has been proving to us for too long now that he hasn't got the heart for the fight.

Being played in the wrong role. Stop playing him with his back to goal and get him running in behind defenders instead.

And still the excuses for this man appear. He's crap wherever he plays, has been for years. Get rid ASAP. Would prefer someone with a brain .

Thing is you can see him in 10 years time being on Sky Sports labelled as a 'Villa Legend'. The man has been coasting for 2 years and I hope Sherwood tells him that to his face.

2 years? He's been shit since the league cup final with the occasional good game.

But he wasn't shit in 2012/13 season though. 9 league goals, mostly in the second half of the season

He had his [previously] customary good third of the season, now he doesn't even manage that.

I'm guessing now's a bad time to mention that the game against Stoke was Gabby's 341st, moving him level with Peter McParland in 21st on the all time appearances chart. If you're interested, McParland got 121 goals in his 341 appearances, Gabby has 81 in his.

As you were.
