  1. It'll be either good or bad or maybe somewhere in between
  2. Haha better than what I was thinking, I'm just about to order a takeaway after reading Deisler's post I now fancy Chinese.
  3. I'd say a few thousand Aston Villa supporters care. The longer it takes means we are stuck unable to sell or sign player's while other clubs can get on with their business. Still we can finally see light a the end of the dark tunel...or can we????
  4. Well at least we now have a manager and an assistant, just need a new owner, new squad.....
  5. I have no doubt that Jack has talent as we've all occasionally seen it however if he wants to to go then I wouldn't waste any time trying to keep him. I'd prefer him to stay but his application has to improve massively otherwise he's only going to be a bit part player. If the new manager wants him to leave I'd be okay with that. He occasionally good but all to often he's just meh.....
  6. No their sarcasm buttons were off....at least I hope they were hahahaha.
  7. Yeah like I said up there, DA was bloody awful but at least he gave it a go unlike CNZ.
  8. Certainly he's up there with the worst of the worst. No pride ,no work ethic if any club in the UK sign this muppet I'll be amazed. Thankfully we won't see him or Richardson again...just another 20 odd to get shot of!
  9. Yep a minority of one. After Richardson Lescott is the worst player in the squad, which is impressive considering we have players like Richards, Gabby, Bacuna etc who he had to compete against for the honor of being the most useless lump of the season.
  10. Eh? Who? Ayew? best of a bad bunch but he's not all that. After him I'm struggling to think of any one of them that could be described a good. The size of the job for The Doc and his new management is going to be huge, somehow they need to get shot of as many of these losers as possible.
  11. I've never rated Okore, I wrote after seeing him play before his injury that he looked very raw nothing I have seen since has changed that initial opinion. If we can get money for him then I'd get shot ASAP. Mind you I wouldn't keep many of the 1st team as they are all very poor. And before someone says we have some good player's, don't we do not we have a squad of losers. Ayew is the best player we have but that doesn't mean much although we might just get money back on him.
  12. I hope he gets in one of his cars and keeps driving away from VP....far far away never ever to return.
  13. Why? Some people have their doubts and although we all want this guy to be our saviour I think they are right to cautious until we know 100% either way. I'll be very interested to see who is our new manager, Tony Xia has said he's already knows who it is but he's holding off naming him. If he's telling the truth then it's unlikely to be RDM if he's now talking to Lazio. The DM sounds promising and if it's true then I'd say rather than feeling stupid they will be very happy. After the last 5 or so years with an owner who made mistake after mistake it's good to be talking about a new owner who is saying the right things.
  14. No not 1 bad experience, he's had many instances. He's not the only person I know who finds dealing with the Chinese businessmen difficult but there's not much point in going into detail here. You'll find out what you want to hear....no doubt.
  15. I warned my nose mates not to believe a word from CY as I have a mate who has done business with the Chinese for many years. He still struggles with them as they will tell you what they believe you want to hear but do exactly what they want which can be the opposite of what you need. My initial euphoria that Lerner was gone has now been replaced by "oh ****". I hope it's just a little confusion and that once it's sorted this guy really does have our best interest at heart but my words to the noses all those years ago are now screaming loud in my head.
  16. Back from my self imposed absence although I might have had a few peeks. After all the depressing crap around the club under that useless stupid American I'm over the moon that he's gone. I'm going to enjoy that feeling while welcoming Dr Tony Xia to VP....I hope you are bloody stinking rich because you're going to need deep pockets to sort out the mess left behind by Lerner & co. Welcome.
  17. Yep, not interested at the moment. I think I'll do a Lerner and give myself a complete break from Aston Villa otherwise I think I'll give it up completely.
  18. Lol, he's bloody useless. Hopefully he will leave as he's a liability.
  19. One of the best in Europe....my god. He got **** over in January, possibly because he had already become a dead man walking. Whatever way it's looked at his arrival was a mistake, hindsight and all that.
  20. He's got rid of some of the problems but I still don't trust him. He might still be more of an issue than Fox. I'll still wait before changing my opinion of him.
  21. Look customers they ain't listening, Lerner can't sell for a price he want's so Hollis is here to bring in more austerity. We have a piss weak squad, awful management. Walk, don't walk it's not going to change anytime soon. God knows how most of you get to 74 mins anyway.
  22. I'm certainly not anti French just now anti French at Villa Park, I don't think we've had any luck with any of them. Remi Garde has the same look of those before him, it can't be good for his health and the sooner he is put out of his (and ours) misery the better. As for the replacement, I haven't a clue but we need a new Ron Saunder or SGT. Someone who wont accept defeat so easily as all manager's we've had since MoN have.
  23. Even after all my years of watching Villa Brian Little is still the best player I've ever seen in a Villa shirt. Big call but Brian Little was just so good to watch and bar a career ending injury I'm sure would have been part of the 81 & 82 teams. In fact I know he would as I once asked the main man Ron. Still that didn't stop Ron trying to flog him to the noses when he knew Brian's knee was fubar. I can still see him gliding past people like they weren't there, I'd hoped Grealish could have been "that" player but Jack doesn't have either the pace of the application to become the new "Brian Little". I feel sorry for those Villans who didn't see that late 70's team play, they were so good to watch. Better on the eye than the team that won the league and European Cup imo but obviously the results of Ron Saunder's rebuild went on to bring us our most memorable success in living memory and I wouldn't change that for anything. I just miss those days of watching Andy Gray, Brian Little and John Deehan tearing teams apart.
  24. Yes really, take a look at the table it doesn't lie.
