It is a bit odd, no comments from him or Bruce...

We've now had stuff from him but frankly, does anybody give a damn about what the Bruceosaur thinks of it?

Really? Just who cares what the opinion is of a short term manager in relation to a long term signing.

There's an unbelievable amount of morons on your average Villa facebook fan page, it's pretty breath taking to be honest.

Could be any Facebook or social media page if honest ?

dont think we will ever see the best of Jack with SB in charge.

Just on this, literally the best we've ever seen of Jack has been with SB in charge. There are many, many things to knock SB for, not getting the best out of Jack Grealish is not one of them.

On topic, good news he's signed, means that even if we do have to sell him at least we're not completely over a barrel, depending on the release clause of course.

I'm sure there was an article at the end of the transfer window about how heartbroken he was about not getting his Spurs move and how he would refuse to sign any contract...

Sherwood got good performances from him too but not too derail from your main point

He played 18 times under sherwood, We lost 11 of those games. He was actually reasonably productive in those games by his standards though, 1 goal, 3 assists & 1 red card despite only playing 16 minutes of the game

Grealish has done his part here. Classy move from him.

Now the club needs to do theirs and get us promoted.

This looks odd

Do you not think Jack Grealish has something to do to help get us promoted?

The players sign contracts then the club has to get promoted.

Not sure that’s how it works.

Classy move doubling your wage? Lol

And it's the players that have the responsibility of getting us promoted. Jack especially given the wages he is now on in the 2nd Division.

What do you mean by "the club" need to get us promoted? Jack has under performed this season and as a reward for his poor form, he gets to double his wage and then have fans absolve him of all responsibility. Amazing.

He really needs to step up now and prove he is the player many think he is because goodness knows we are going to need it. A few goals wouldn't go amiss either.

Agree with others, glad Jack stayed, chuffed he got a bigger contract and deserves it. He hasn’t been good this season so I hope this settles him, he can now focus and perform for us now as we need him at his best.

Not going to perform in a left midfield role in a midfield 4 though, **** stupid even thinking of putting him out there!

It’s where he started when he first came in to the team, he should be able to adapt to what the manager asks
