For those disappointed in the window?

Beundia £35m

Bailey £30m

Ings £25m

Three/four years ago we were bordering on bankruptcy as we couldn’t pay a £4m tax bill.  Just let that sink in against your needy sense of entitlement.

Whilst these players improve the squad, none of them are a specialist LM, so we have not replaced Grealish, none of them are anywhere close to as good as Grealish and will not occupy 2/3 defenders as Grealish did, creating space for others, and none of them address the biggest weakness of the team last season, which was our cm's.

I'd say we are 2 signings short of being a better side without Grealish, and with our injuries and south American contingent, we are unlikely to see our best 11 on the pitch together many times this season.

Grealish wasnt a specialist LWF until maybe the last season or so. Players can play multiple positions or even learn new ones. Bailey already looks deadly from the left. Think we have that side covered.

Some of Grealish best form last season was when El Ghazi was on the left and Traore on the right and he was central

👍

Yep steady as she goes. I would love to know what the team we have are capable of before we spend too much. And if, Ings, Beundia and Bailey track back as much as we expect them to, then perhaps, just perhaps, our midfield might look a little bit better.

Concerns for the final day.

- Depth in central midfield. Sanson will take awhile to get up to speed and nakamba not good enough for 2 man midfield.

- Backup keeper as it looks like steer will actually have to play some games this season

- Competition for RB  (if we let Guilbert go)

Luiz/Nakamba, McGinn/Sanson, Ramsey/Cuhkwuemeka

We've 6 players and we have Young and Buendia who can play in there if needed.

Then we are not always going to play a 3 man midfield either. Ings/Watkins up top.

We're fine in midfield this season. Nakamba being replaced by an improved CDM who pushes Luiz to backup is the goal but we certainly aren't desperate for that right now if the right player isn't available.

Ramsey is okay, but struggles to make 90 minutes, Chuka has proved he's just not ready for the Premier league, Nakamba is still Championship, Luiz and McGinn a bit temperamental and Sanson, I'm not sure he is going to make it.

Probably the most negative post I've read on here for awhile.

Reality mate. No doubt they can do a job, but time and time again they are overun by the decent sides, an we end up hoofing up to the forwards. Example, we are a much better side than Brentford, but they bullied us, we still need that tough Midfielder who can control players, an unfortunately Chuka and Ramsey are far from the answer.
