Can’t remember a time we’ve been dominated and conceded chances to the level we did to Burnley today and even managed to burgle a draw let alone a win and we’ve had it happen to us three times this season now. Sickening.

We were always finishing midtable. Nothing has changed.

The 5 points we have dropped against this lot may be the difference between 12th and 10th though.

The five points we dropped here plus the 3 at Brighton and the three at Leeds. We’ve had enough quality to push for the European places but have been too sloppy at times.

Flukiest goal you will see all season. Doesn’t excuse the lack of concentration in defence. Wingers didn’t do enough to protect the full backs and we got bullied too often. Game management came too late, the team fell to pieces following the first goal. Inexcusable to throw it away.

McGinn and others totally anonymous in the second half. It’s a head scratcher. Burnley did nothing for 45 minutes.

Pope kept them in the game.

Agree, you simply cannot lose games like that and expect a top £ finish.

really poor with the possession, the shots etc.

We need to offset that by beating one of the top 4 sides again to offer neutrality to this awful result

We lost to a team from the 80's. Really should not do that after having the lead twice.

Fair bit of bad luck but I hope the manager and players learns from this.

Reactionary subs rather than proactive ones will hopefully be a thing of the past ones we get a better squad.

Absolutely devastated. When it happened against West Ham, it was hard enough to take but this was on another level.

Completely outclassed the spawny shithouses but managed to throw it away. Dare I say it, same old Villa!

Need to learn how to finish, all we talk about after every game is missed chances.

tbh 2 goals should have been enough. their second goal was the flukiest I've seen.

I am in disbelief at our naiveté there.

Completely shithoused by a bunch of anti-football thugs lead by a non-league manager.

Ref awful for letting them get away with fouling us and letting them timewaste the whole game.

Dire result.
