So who are you bringing on then? To push Jack back to the left inverted winger role, from which he did so much damage earlier this season?

Ramsey is exciting, but he's a kid. He's not ready for a game against title challengers, away from home, where we're already trailing and need to try to find a way back in.

The way Traore is playing Dean Smith would be an option.

El Ghazi and Traore are still not getting back to cover enough, for me.

Mings still looks the dodgiest of the defenders and has done all season.

Need Jack to get on the ball more and drive at their defence.

Watkins needs to be stronger and make more space for himself.

We're unlucky to be behind as we were well in this when they scored.

We still look like we will score whenever we're in their end. We can win this.

We haven't come from behind to win all season and United don't lose games at Old Trafford when losing at half time. Throw in the fact our wingers are dreadful, we have no Premier League quality on the bench and we have an appalling record against this team and you'd have to be insane to back a Villa win from here.

We have seen in many games this season, we need a dead ball specialist who is an automatic starter. It isn't Grealish, and it isn't Traore. We get into some many good positions with dead balls and the service is piss poor.

I think Barkley could be that player, but is he going to stay fit enough? Can we merger Barkley and Conor? 😄

Just because they scored doesn’t mean we should forget we were getting on top and generally playing okay.

Traore has been really poor and his free kick gave away the possession for the goal. Watkins has been poor in my view and once again a little naive again, he needs to be more aggressive and not wait on the ball reaching him so often.

As for Mings, he had a good 45 but his mistake cost the goal. People can say he is being scapegoated if they want but as far as I’m concerned that goals on him and I think Hause makes that header.

Your comments are spot on.

Konsa more to blame than mings imo.

In general, Konsa gets a free pass here, he's a likeable fellow. To me, he's not nearly as good he's thought of here, because he hides and lives in Mings' shadow.

How has Barkley become so important since he stopped playing ? Another month out and he will be in the England squad

Since our first 11 decided not to continue its recent good form in the first half of this game.
