He's not a better striker than Kane, but he's a better all round player, and we'd be a better team with Watkins up top harassing, pressing and running the channels to keep teams on their toes rather than Harry Kane dropping back into defensive midfield because he's bored and wants to practice his quarterback balls. No chance it happens though.
VillaAlex
The attacking coach was having a long discussion with him after half time, I think about coming a bit wider and pulling off into the centre. It worked a treat he was sensational. Zabarnyi was made a complete fool of.
DCJonah
He's been incredible. Should be POTY for the prem. He's added so much to his game.
Rightdm00
Poor Zabarnyi must have felt like he was in a washer machine on spin. Just getting turned every which way. Amazing second half performance by Watkins. Deserved a goal, which means he will score twice versus Chelsea.

VillaJay
Top class performance 19g 12a in the league alone, all round striker and some of his hold up play and technique today was brilliant.
El-Reacho
Toney is actually better suited to England under Southgate as he’s a blunt force instrument that requires no instruction. The likes of Foden, Saka, and now Watkins are used to coaches who’ll give them clear tactical instructions for each game which they just don’t get with England.
Pinebro
There are some strikers when they dont score they dont contribute anything. Ollie is not one of those. As close to a complete striker as you can get. Haaland is a better goal scorer. Watkins is a superior footballer. Im saying this as a Norwegian Edited April 21 by Pinebro
Indigo
There's obviously other phenomenal players in this league but as of right now there isn't another player more deserving of POTY than this guy. He was absolutely unplayable today (against a quality defender too) as he has been for most of the season, no purple patches or anything of the sort, just consistently excellent for the entirety of the season with the numbers to back it up. What a player.

lexicon
Top assist man in the league now - unbelievable. Superb player.
ChesterDad
Gosh - did things today that I wasn’t aware that he could. He really does seem to be improving week upon week. If this improvement continues for the next 12 months - I think he will be one of the very best strikers in the world. His touch and awareness were just fantastic today. mikeyp102
Unplayable second half. What a player. I’ve had my doubts about him in the past, and does make the odd wrong decision but he has been sublime this season.
