Or just keep the defence deep and leave loads of room for Maddison and Perez to work in? I hate it when we drop too deep and stay there too; it happens all too often. But for this game, I don't fault the strategy. We've already been battered by Leicester once this season, and we'd still be 1-0 up in this game if we didn't make stupid decisions on that free kick. Also if a couple of our players were a bit more composed, we'd be more comfortable. Nothing to do with how deep they're playing. Doesnt matter whose playing, you cant sit with 11 behing the ball for 45 mins, its suicide. Even more so with how poor our fitness levels are

Yep when you play like we have for entire half there will be a mistake sooner or later. But are we sure Smith is intentionally making us play like this? We're against a really good team that's pressing like crazy.

We're always going to concede if we give the opposition the ball for much of the match. Spot on. If you play the game in the wrong area of the pitch for too long shit happens. And when you don't have the threat of counter attack football your doubly screwed.

Leicester were not creating a lot despite all their possession. We were not going to be in a position to dominate the ball at their place when they are chasing a lead, we we’re playing the best hand we had.
