I think if Trezeguet signs then Green may be kept as 4th choice winger. I think he'd be better served having a full season loan to a club that will play him in the Championship though.

I don't know why im just not too excited about this potential signing compared to some of the others. I think i wanted a real marque statement signing at RW and this feels like a bit of a let down.

With my record on transfers and player prospects, that probably means he'll be a superstar though!

Personally do not feel Green will ever cut it as a premiership player.

That's harsh, apart from Celtic and Rangers I'm sure he'd make the rest of the teams easily.

Hope he doesn't follow too closely in the steps of the real Trezeguet as he has just lost his license after a bit of drunk driving and calling the police officers that arrested him for poor people who only earns £200.

:crylaugh:

What a douche.

For the lazy ones:
"Kasimpasa has reached a principle agreement with Aston Villa for the transfer of Trezeguet for 11 million euros."

I'm all for a good principle!

11 sounds low, I guess it's accompanied by some additional millions if certain milestones are met.

Last season according to transfermarkt he got nine goals and nine assists, and the season before that 16 goals and 8 assists. So pretty good stats, and I don't think the quality of the Turkish league is that bad. Interestingly though, it seems that he's played most of his career on the left wing, whereas you'd think it would be a specialist right-winger that we'd be signing, but then again, El Ghazi has played most of his career as a right-winger.

I've yet to work out which of El Ghazi's feet is the dominant one, so presumably he will be just as dangerous on either wing.
