Skruff
How the hell that isn't a red card is beyond me.
Dr_Pangloss
Oh ffs, you know what **** it, Ben Mee you're a **** nasty little word removed. I hope he gets Eduardo'd.

Newry_Villan
That's a nasty one. Intentional. He can claim he got the ball but he left one on Wesley. Wonder if the FA could take retrospective action over that.
Rightdm00
If Wesley plays again in 2020 it will be a miracle. Big boys like him take a lot longer to recover from ligament tears as well. Now we can't sell Kodija and we are gonna have to get this new striker choice spot on.
osmark86
that could be a career-ender. I really hope Ben Mee gets penalized retrospectively for that. that is seriously ugly. **** I'm pissed off!
Dale
Awful news. That tackle was dangerous, no doubt.
Chindie Posted January 1, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted January 1, 2020 No defending that tackle. A clogger needs to go knee high two footed right by the joint on Mee.
thunderball
Aw sh*t, that's horrible. Fair play he didn't look as distressed as that suggests, that looks a shocker. Just our luck, Wes turns his game around and he is crocked. Ironically, he doesn't get injured very often and this looks very bad indeed.
Nigel Posted January 1, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted January 1, 2020 Well done VAR, fit for purpose!
Davkaus
VAR has no interest in this but gets CSI on the case if you're armpit hair protrudes beyond the defender. The priorities of PGMOL are a **** joke. 2
poitier
That picture of Wesley's knee looks awful, but he didn't seem to be in as much pain as you would expect from that. It certainly didn't seem to be as bad a tackle as Targett's against Leicester. While it isn't Wes's fault in any way, he did go into it very half-heartedly, they say that you get hurt worse when not fully committed to the tackle. Today was one of his better performances, let's hope it isn't as bad as it looks.
Strangeways
The female commentator kept sayin a strong but fair tackle!!! this was needless and so nasty / over the top, potential career ending stupid horror tackle, he also kneed kodjia in the back later on purpose. jacketspuds
His arse is 6 inches off the ground. He is completely unable to control his movement at that point. Disgraceful challenge.
KillieVillain
Horrendous tackle, excessive force and scissor like which I thought you weren’t allowed to do, makes you so angry that VAR spot offsides by having your armpit hair offside but don’t spot something as obvious as this.
villianusa
I'd say medial ligament damage at a minimum unless he is Superman. 6-8 weeks I would expect. Reckless and out of control!
