I think Smith will give Hogan and Kodjia a big opportunity to show their worth in pre-season. Unless we snap up an even better striker, Wesley will 100% be leading the line as the centre forward. (Think Valencia are in for him too) Do you guys think Gomez for 29m or Wesley for 22m would habe been the best piece of business? In fairness Gomez may not have even looked twice at us? Part of me thinks Wesley may be ideal for us and is a better purchase than Gomez could have been?, I'm more just interested in people's thoughts?
