Keener window-cleaner Posted August 13, 2019 Share Posted August 13, 2019 I think Sisto was the one I remember from the Denmark U21 team in the European Championships 2015, he came on from the bench in a game and looked brilliant. I always wondered what happened to him, was sure he'd become a great player. Sad to hear if he has some personal problems, another Helenius situation wouldn't be good for anyone. If we bid for him I hope that doesn't mean we have moved on from Benrahma, still have my fingers crossed that we will come back in for him in January or next summer. To me it doesn't seem very probable that we would shell out £25M or something for Phillips in January. Surly Luiz as U23 captain for Brazil is meant to be first choice as DM, difficult to see us spending £25M on a player to be second choice. Angel Romero is actually reasonably rated, quick winger/striker who's similar in style to Almiron. Did o.k at Corinthians, not sure why he's a free agent given he signed for San Lorenzo in 2019. Calm, composed and assured in what they’re doing. Worse comes to worse we strengthen in January providing we aren’t completely cut adrift which I don’t personally believe will be the case. Big January buys can be a great catalyst for the run in. Solano even modest in price was a big signing in O’Learys first year which helped us push for 6th.
