Would start him on the left and el ghazi on the right.

Means whelan  still there, el ghazi would be up against Cole

He presents too much from free kicks and late runs to not play him more advanced.

It also means no dilemma with green or Albert.

Tasty bet. There was a bit of twitter chat he's in. Him and Albert.

I'd be happy with that.

I'd leave Green at home, he is woeful

I've been critical of Conor all year, suggesting he had no balls. He certainly found them when it mattered in the playoffs.

Before I even comment on some of the 🐐s at this club I want to give a special shout-out to Conor who was brilliant today. Best performance in a Villa shirt. I gave him some stick earlier in the season, but he really is strong of character and not a bad footballer to boot. A worthy addition to our PL squad next season (feels surreal saying that).

He was immense in that role yesterday. Controlled the midfield well and got stuck in and broke up play well.

Delighted for him to get promoted. He’s gone the long hard road to get there but he’s done it. Credit to him.

His left foot will definitely be an asset in the Prem.

His pass for our first goal was wonderful. MOTM candidate.

Agree completely, not many others in squad could have started that move.

He really was class, thought he tired late on and I'd still probably brought Whelan on to firm things up.

Him and El Ghazi were Motm for me.
