ozvillafan Posted February 17, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 17, 2015 Can Sinclair play left? If so, we can put Bacuna right and sub in Grealish for either late in the game. This leaves Gil with a free role - which I think he will do well in.

Condimentalist
Yeah that's how I hope we line up on Saturday.
ozvilla28
Was our best player in the second half and slowly getting back some confidence.
DCJonah
He was excellent today. Shame others didn't match him.
bobzy
Yeah, he's promising. Makes the right runs in the channel and also runs in behind defenders.
Farlz
Really impressed me again today, him and Clark the only ones who deserve some credit. Fantastic header from him.
powell91
been at villa the shortest but the only player that looked like he was playing with a bit of gut and passion says it all really. I imagine he is the only player in that squad who has earned a place in the first 11 next week.
Reivax_Villa
I would play him up top with benteke. And play a 3-5-2 Our midfield cannot dominate and benteke cannot play up on his own
tonitottakai
Seems like the only one of the lot that hasn't had the time to be completely Lamberted.
Bunnski
Our only decent player out there today outside of the back 4, he made great runs and kept the ball well. Great header for the goal also.
samjp26
"I felt as though we needed to go forward and keep pushing for goals after we scored. We need to manage games better, keep possession and create more chances than we did." Seems like he was on a completely different wave length to everybody else, it showed on the pitch too. Also interesting to hear from Scott Sinclair, a man who has been here for just a few weeks himself, that the manager has already made a difference to the squad. What on earth was going on under Lambert?
HanoiVillan
Really impressed me again today, him and Clark the only ones who deserve some credit. Fantastic header from him. Totally agree with this. A shame Sinclair isn't even our player. EDIT: And that's me backtracking, because I wasn't impressed by the move to get him. But he was good today. GasGasGas
It is strange that our best player is always constantly the newest addition to our squad. It was the same with Gil, and Sanchez earlier on in the season. Give him a few more games for him to match our level. Coming from Man City, it's natural he's too good for us at the moment. poitier
He was positive when he had the ball but wasn't in the game enough. Perhaps worthy of playing up with Benteke given how abysmal our other strikers are.
VillaChris
Do people reckon he'd still sign for us if we went down? Given his house hunting in Brum last week? I wasn't huge on the signing but he has been good so far and would score loads in the championship.
useless
If he impresses enough for us to want to sign, then there's no chance of him sticking around if we're relegated, other Premier teams will be in for him.

Risso
He was easily our best player today, and linked up well with Richardson before he went off.
