sir_gary_cahill
Thought he looked good when he came on, why he didn't start was beyond me, it was refreshing to see a wide player actually run at the full back and get crosses into the box
Farlz
A really good run down the left which was good to see. Looking forward to seeing him play more.
poitier
As soon as he is match fit he should walk into our starting line up.
bobzy
Yeah, he looks nice and direct. He'll be an asset to us based on that cameo.
sharkyvilla
Thought he looked good when he came on, why he didn't start was beyond me, it was refreshing to see a wide player actually run at the full back and get crosses into the box I can understand why he didn't start having not played for a long time. He should give us something we are missing over the last few months of the season. I'm still predicting he will be great value for money.

StanBalaban
As soon as he is match fit he should walk into our starting line up. He'll fit in well with the rest of our midfield then.
WooJung
I never excpected him to start. After all, Gil didn't start against Liverpool and you didn't even have the excuse that he wasn't match fit. "But he had just arrived, he hadn't adapted to the tactics yet" What tactics? Let's hope he does well.
VillaChris
Thought he looked good when he came on, why he didn't start was beyond me, it was refreshing to see a wide player actually run at the full back and get crosses into the box Barely played in two years and Weimann scored a goal last weekend were the reasons. It was a good run in fairness so wouldn't shock me if we start him v Chelsea.

The sooner weimann is out of the team the better
villan-scott Posted February 1, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 1, 2015 He looked good when he came on today, pacy and direct, with more skill and more of a footballing brain than Gabby. He should do well for us, a definite improvement on what's been on offer so far this season.
AVTuco Posted February 1, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 1, 2015 I liked him today, he has more ability than many of our regulars.
AValon
Looked far from the player some of us were dreading. Starting him would not have mattered much as the Arse were on fire, but he would definitely have troubled their defenders more than we did.
Bunnski
I like that he was constantly trying to beat his man and make something happen rather than turn back and pass it backwards. Hopefully with more game time he will start doing the business.
Stevo985 Posted February 7, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 7, 2015 Hard situation to come into today. Chasing the game and up against one of the best right backs in the league. Hoping to see him start vs Hull. Think he and Gil on opposite sides will keep them guessing.
Farlz
Hopefully he'll start against Hull, him and Gil on the wings will be great
HanoiVillan
He has to start. I wasn't keen on bringing him here, but at least he looks positive and tries things.
Texas_Mike
He won't start against Hull. I bet it will be the same starting 11.
poitier
He should be in from the start in place of Weimann.
