The RJW63 Official Jack Grealish Appreciation Thread

For the Jack clap trapping that went on here since before and after the Croatia game, at least be brave enough to come out of the woodwork and be as objective when he does he get minutes. He wasn't that good. Made little impact. He's a phenomenal player but just saying you can't have it every way. Honesty can't be to just suit your argument. Looking to work his way into the team and as any player on the fringes, since football began, if you get minutes you have to make them count.

Expecting Jack to be able to come in 60 mins in and make an impact after not starting a game yet is really setting him up to fail. Start him and we win that game.

If he didn't expect him to make an impact, then why was he brought on ?

Didn’t help him taking Kane off.

I thought we looked better when Jack came on, but after a while he seemed to get fed up of nobody moving off the ball and he started dropping deeper. And then the team started going down the right all the time and he never got the ball.

Twice he played the ball into areas where somebody should have been to pick it up and both times nobody was to be seen.

He certainly didn't have it easy in that game.

I don't think Jack is the problem with that team.

To be honest, that's why I laughed when some of our fans thought he could come on and turn a game on it's head on his own.

The whole balance and drive of that team is wrong.

To be fair to Jack, if there is no balance and movement around him, and he doesn't really get the ball in opportunistic areas not much he can do.

Also, we have to give credit to Scotland, they were very effective with their stifling tactics, no one really got a sniff.

It's similar to when Ollie or another one of our strikers get stifled, then get hammered for being crap, when the actual problem is much deeper, and not really the player.

In reality, there are times Jack has been stifled for us as well.

Exactly what was there for him to work with?  Rashford and Sterling no movement run into trouble,  safe Rice, Mount and Philips none of which can carry the ball Forward, give him Bellingham , Sancho and Foden and he’s got some players on the same wavelength
