The RJW63 Official Jack Grealish Appreciation Thread

At Villa Grealish knows that he's the leader of the pack, for England he doesn't quite yet realize that, so is less confident to try and makes things happen in the same way as he would be for us, and feels more obliged to pass, probably an element of him not wanting to appear greedy as well.

Needs to be starting matches so he can grow into games and into the tournament.

SkySports appreciated his effort (Typo on the next opponent):

Jack Grealish - 7

England's go-to man in their crisis of creativity. Didn't quite live up to the clamour, but did plenty of good work after his introduction and will surely start on Tuesday against Croatia.

He had 9 statues around him. What is he supposed to do?

He should be the focal point of that midfield.

So true. The system is hopeless. We’re terrified of every team we play. Why not play Mount deeper alongside Rice and then play Grealish behind Kane with some pace on the wings?

Honestly, how did this man get the England job.

Indeed there is no system.

Southgate is just the English Solskjaer. No tactics just relying on individual brilliance.

Can you imagine Grealish in that Italy team?

Mings got rating of 8 and Kane 3 😂

Think this game was a real big wakeup call for people.

Grealish or no Grealish won't matter much. England will get murdered by the first decent team they come across.

Can't even imagine what a France or Italy would do with this team.

Croatia won't want to play England again surely. The intern at sky working the shitty shift on a Friday evening is sharp as a tack i see.

Southgate will have to freshen it up. Some of the players looked tired out there tonight. I expect Grealish to start.  Sterling, Kane, and one of the midfield players to be rested

Leave Foden on the bench, he's done nothing.

The fact that we are having this debate says it all. Jack is easily our best player. It’s not even close. If the manager can’t see that then he should no longer be the manager. No surprise really because the manager has never achieved anything! Nothing! Nada! Eff all!
