Get him out and get in someone who knows what they’re doing. 1 win in 4 against bad teams is not acceptable. And spare me the Dean was given plenty of time comments. We were making our way up from a championship team and he built us up as far as he could. Gerrard was supposed to take us to the next level, or at least show signs of progress and yet we’ve seemingly gone backwards.

3 games that we should've either won or at least got something out of have been completely pissed away at the hands of a manager who simply doesn't have a clue how to get the best out of this group of players. 2 pretty much guaranteed losses to come and it'll be W1 L5 to start the season. That's absolutely unacceptable.

Missed most of the game but 3 losses in 4 against pretty average opposition isn't good enough. Relegation form!

Gerrard has to go now. No two ways about it. We shouldnt have lost that game, thought they deserved a clean sheet at the least, but the boring football we have to endure is not fitting of these owners and what they’ve pumped into the club. Gerrard has a big ego and is making bad decision after bad decision. West Ham and Bournemouth have been bloody awful but still can count on Villa for 3 points. Its not good enough plain and simple. Another mess to sort out ffs.

Hopefully that was the last time we see Gerrard in the dugout at Villa Park. Only positive I can take from that.
