This has the stench of the relegation season. Except after his stint the season before Sherwood deserved the opportunity. There was nothing last season that showed Gerrard deserved another go this season.

The subs were poor. We weren't great second half but at least with Luiz on West Ham weren't finding much space 30 yards out. Just goes back to same midfield as started the season and suddenly likes of Rice are running into vacant space no problem.

Bailey was bright in spells, should've been on at the hour when it was 0-0 and poised.

Baffling use of Archer so far, we don't want to loan him out yet give him serious minutes in premier league.

I think someone on here or elsewhere called it right, players just don't believe in the system Gerrard is imposing on them. We basically chucked it at 1-0 down aswell which is another very worrying sign.

Taking off Luiz, a **** bright spark on a shit day, completely disrupting the little bit of control we had on the pitch, was a ridiculous decision.

How can we all see that Mcginn is seriously struggling for whatever reason, but the management team can't? He doesn't contribute anything anymore.
