If it were 0-3 I don't think they could have any complaints - but for a bit of luck on where a couple of crosses land we'd be out of sight. Brilliant goal, so chuffed for the lad, such a sweet strike and I bet that celebration felt amazing. Gerrard will be into them at half time to get a 90 minute performance from the team - if he can do that, that's another test he'll have passed. Excellent stuff. More please. stewiek2 Posted December 14, 2021 Share Posted December 14, 2021 Ironically had this been Smith Villa v Farke Norwich it'd probably be about 3-3 by now. Totally professional, organised performance. The difference with us off the ball under Gerrard and Smith is staggering, and it's improving with each game. Can't fault a player that first half.
