jacketspuds Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 Ampadu has always looked good in the CDM role. Would be a decent signing as can cover either position. Still think Edouard would be good as he could interchange with Watkins down the left. Pacey winger as well and our attack would be consistent top 8 plus in terms of quality. Problem is we could do with a CDM, CM, RW and ST, plus a young LB to support Targett and a CB if / when Engels goes. 6 signings is a lot, but possible. I think he's a good player but I don't know why he's anything better than tidy. And his whoscored rating, goals, assists and so on suggest that too. He gets around the pitch really well, and the bits i saw where he was breaking up play were excellent. I admit his forward play isn’t great but I think he’d do really well for us. Traore will know him from Lyon so perhaps could get on the phone. Sergio Canales also at Betis.... Mind you Spurs got Lo Celso from them two years back when he was scoring 15 goals from central midfield and he hasn't got close to any sort of influence like that at Spurs. Actually wonder if Betis might take El Ghazi if he was included in the deal to drive down the price a bit.
