He gets around the pitch really well, and the bits i saw where he was breaking up play were excellent. I admit his forward play isn’t great but I think he’d do really well for us.

He's OK. I don't know what he'd offer more than what we have to be honest.

Not sure about his injury situation but Tuanzebe had Mbappe on toast for Man Utd last October.

Yeah I remember that. Hadn't played for Man. United for a year yet came in v PSG and was brilliant that night.

He'll be on our radar I'm sure. I meant we took Mings when he'd had as many injuries and largely kept him fit and he knows the club and our way of playing. Think 15m or something will do it and can see him filling in at RB given Cash gets injuries and suspensions while he bides his time waiting for chance centrally.

Fair enough. I can’t see us buying him anyway as Brighton would want far too much for him I would imagine. There are bigger priority areas to spend large sums of money on.

Him and Ezri together, if he can stay fit, could be a Rolls Royce centre-half pairing  in the future.

See Tammy news of joining us is popping up a fair bit in the media. Saying he's looking to ditch all offers and come to us because he has success already here.

It's not much of a story to us fans because we already knew that.

I do think if Chelsea sell then we would certainly try bring him here despite having Watkins, Wesley, Davis. I have a feeling the club would want to pull that move off because it gives us an easy option of moving Watkins onto the Wings where he's already proved he can be a handful. I know some think he won't work there but he would indeed. While Watkins was at Brentford when Maupay were the CF, Watkins were actually a Right Winger. For all we know he could be as good on the right Wing as he is for us as our CF. We certainly wouldn't need to buy a Winger if we pulled this move and Tammy up front along with Grealish (left) and Watkins (right) would be a very dangerous front line.

You pull that simplistic move of then the rest of the clubs cash can be spent in midfield and the backline. That's why I think the club may pull the trigger on Tammy Abraham signing for Villa.

I wouldn't call it putting Watkins wide,  but as the more mobile of the two with license to pull wide. With Jack in a free role behind them.

I like the idea of that, at least as an option.

Yes he was quoted as saying that - a year ago when they were in the championship and he hadn't just gotten 14 goals, 17 assists in 37 starts and taken them back up as champions...

Which was my point when I said we should have brought him last summer, the financial side of the deal doesn't make sense now.

@paul514 has an opinion on Koopmeiners. Not sure if it's good or bad though! 😉

I have an opinion of Wijndal too! Koopmeiners is really good, Wijndal is a work in progress IMO he is not on the same level as Koopmeiners.

I have suggest we buy him or Sosa of Stuttgart as our Taylor replacement but I don't see him replacing Targett for the first game more of a challenger to Targett over a year or so. He is an attacking left back and it goes without saying a massive upgrade on Taylor.

Ampadu has always looked good in the CDM role. Would be a decent signing as can cover either position.

Still think Edouard would be good as he could interchange with Watkins down the left. Pacey winger as well and our attack would be consistent top 8 plus in terms of quality.

Problem is we could do with a CDM, CM, RW and ST, plus a young LB to support Targett and a CB if / when Engels goes.

6 signings is a lot, but possible.

Yes to Edouard if we have to buy a striker but a massive no to Ampadu, he is a specialist of nothing it seems to me. Mr Utility who isn't good enough to take the place of the first team player.

You would have to be a right div not to buy him for 7 million. No brainer to get rid of Engels for him.

I love Tammy but anyone who suggests moving Watkins out wide to accommodate anyone needs their head examined.  We need an understudy, preferably before Brentford buy them.  Ollie is something special.

We will see if he is special in the next two seasons as we sort out the team and create more for him. He is certainly good enough to be first choice right now which isn’t something we have been able to say since Benteke

I love Tammy as well, but wouldn't pay anything near £40m for him

Ollie is better than Tammy and he better suits our style. We won’t be signing Tammy to play Ollie wide! We would be better buying a wide player and keeping Ollie where he is. £40m is also double the real value of Tammy.

I think he is worth 30, 40 is debateable. We certainly don't need him as a priority this summer.

Whether we need him or not is another matter but £40m for Abraham is cheap, if he was our player I'd want more than that, his scoring record is fab, twenty-one league goals and six assists in the last two seasons with Chelsea in thirty-six games worth of football , and also four goals and three assists in the champions league over the last two seasons as well, and another four goals in the FA Cup.
